Advanced Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery

Laparoscopic gastric bypass, vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG), and gastric banding (LAP-BAND®), are all complex procedures requiring specialized training and experience in bariatric surgery, as well as tremendous skill. Dr. Alexander has the experience and advanced training needed to offer a safe and effective surgical weight loss program. Post-Bariatric Recontructive Surgery

In addition to advanced obesity surgery, we perform abdominoplasty and other reconstructive surgery for patients who are left with excess skin after losing weight. He also performs post-bariatric reconstructive surgery, often referred to as “tummy tuck,” “leg lift.” or “arm lift.”

Specializing Bariatric Revision Surgery

About Board Certification

Board certification sets the gold standard for surgical expertise in the United States. In order to become board certified, your surgeon must pass a series of written and practical tests demonstrating full mastery of the knowledge and techniques required to perform surgery. Not every surgeon is board certified. While they may still be trained medical professionals, this means that they have not passed the stringent battery of formal tests designed to ensure that their patients receive reliably high-quality medical care.
